How to Reduce UK Study Costs?

Make use of the following avenues to effectively ease the financial pressure of studying abroad

1Chevening Scholarship

Funded by the UK Foreign Office, this scholarship supports talented international future leaders to pursue a one-year master's degree in the UK. It covers full tuition, living costs and return airfare. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree, have at least two years of work experience (or 2,800+ hours), and commit to returning to their home country after graduation.

2University Scholarships & Early-Bird Discounts

Many universities offer £2,000–£5,000 entry scholarships or 5% tuition discounts for early applicants. UK university scholarship deadlines are often in March or April. Applications can be completed online including document submission and interview scheduling.

3Part-Time Work

Under UK visa regulations, international students on a Student Visa may legally work up to 20 hours per week during term time, and full-time during holidays. Common part-time opportunities include on-campus teaching or research assistant roles, food service, retail, and Chinese language tutoring.
